There are 39 schools in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation located inside the city limits and in suburban and rural settings.  What school a child attends is based upon the location of the parents' or legal guardian's primary residence and the grade level of the student. The EVSC also provides free bussing to school for those students whose home residence distance from their school makes this service necessary.
